The Order of the Eastern Star is a humanitarian and the largest fraternal organization for both women and men and is dedicated to the principles of brotherly love, relief and truth.

Together, the Masonic family of charities donates more than $2 million dollars a day world-wide.

Richfield Chapter # 293:

· Provides scholarships to graduating High School Seniors;

· Supports volunteer efforts at the Masonic Cancer Hospital at the University of Minnesota and at the two Masonic Homes in Bloomington and in New Hope;

· Provides funds for local food shelves and other local community needs;

· Responds to emergency needs following natural disasters, including floods, hurricanes and earthquakes; and

· Supports the MN Grand Chapter projects, which vary slightly from year to year.

We meet at 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Monday's of every month at:

Hope Presbyterian Church;
Entrance Door 6;
7132 Portland Ave So; Richfield

The Chapter does not meet during July and August or the fourth Monday in December.

While all members have their own reasons for joining this organization, The Order of the Eastern Star provides an environment characterized by brotherly love, relief and truth. Life-long bonds with other like-minded individuals builds a strong network of support during life's ups and downs.
